Governance Vacancies

Some members are elected by parents and staff, others are nominated by the local governing committee for approval by the trust board or co-opted directly by the local governing committee. The role is voluntary although individuals are entitled to claim expenses in line with the trust’s Director and Local Governor Expenses Policy.

We’re seeking a dedicated volunteer to chair the Local Governing Committee (LGC) at Whitehouse Primary School, North Shields.

Our Chairs provide leadership and support to a school’s LGC, ensuring the school’s governance is effective and that our pupils thrive.

Parent Governor Vacancy

We are asking all parents/carers of current pupils to consider nominating themselves for the vacant parent vacancies on the new Local Governing Committee which will be set up when Whitehouse joins NEAT Academy Trust in January.
