Applications for Reception to Year 6 should be made to North Tyneside Council. For more information on admissions, please refer to North Tyneside Council’s website.

Parents are advised to check the Council’s website for deadline dates for Reception applications.

In-Year Admissions

If you wish to apply for a place outside the normal admissions round, for example, if you’re moving into the area or want to change your child’s school during the school year, you’ll need to apply through North Tyneside Council’s in-year admissions process.

You have the right of appeal if you are refused a place.  The deadline for appeals for entry to Reception in September 2026 is 16th May 2026 to enable your appeal to be heard during the Summer Term; appeals received after this date may not be heard until after the summer holidays.  Further information is available on North Tyneside Council’s website.

There is a right for people to raise objections to the admissions policy agreed by the 28th February each year with the Schools Adjudicator. See the Schools Adjudicator website (Office of the Schools Adjudicator) for more information on how to do this. Objections to the admissions arrangements for 2025/26 must be made by 16th May 2026.

Applications for the 2 year old provision and Nursery should be made to the school. Nursery places are allocated according to the Nursery Admissions Policy in the policies section of our website.
